University application?

Hi, if the university's application priority deadline is 15th/February and there are still spaces left for 2nd deadline 1st/April, does 2nd priority give better chance to get in or 1st priority gives better opportunity to get in ? or is it might be school's discretion ? ps) Is the number of applicants many as 1st priority deadline in 2nd priority deadline?

1. 1st priority, definitely. More people get in in 1st than in 2nd.
2. You want to get your application in as soon as possible, you'll have a better chance at getting if you turn in before February 15th.
